Murder With Friends at Powell's at Cedar Hills Crossing. April 9, 2008, at 6:30pm. Authors include Ed Goldberg, Ashna Graves, Doc Macomber, Katy King, Greg Rucka, Gregg Olsen, Shirley Tallman, Lono Waiwaiole, Nancy Bush, Lisa Jackson, Robert Dugoni, Sharan Newman and Bill Cameron. Robert Napier may also attend.

Friends of Mystery Debut Authors Panel, March 27, 2008, 7:00pm.
The March 27, 2008 Bloody Thursday meeting will feature a panel of newly published mystery authors discussing their debut novels and the roads they traveled to get there. Authors are Bill Cameron, Gregg Olsen, Doc Macomber, Ashna Graves and Bob Napier.

April 21, 2007, noon: Seattle Mystery Bookshop, Seattle, Washinton -- Seattle launch!

July 11 , 2007: Literary Cage Match: WHO’S THE MOST CHILLING THRILLER WRITER: CHICAGO NEWSHOUND, NEW YORK EDITOR, OREGON ARTIST?

July 12 - 15, 2007: ThrillerFest 2007 in New York City.

August 2, 2007, 6-9pm: Willamette Writers Faire, at the Airport Sheraton, Portland. I'll be on hand to sign and sell copies of Lost Dog, along with dozens of other authors.

August 24 and 25, 2007: Kim Alexander, the host of Fiction Nation on XM Radio, interviews me and Toni McGee Causey in a fun, free-wheeling conversation about our books and the experience of being members of Killer Year. You can hear Fiction Nation, on Take Five, XM 155 on Saturday August 25th at 6pm, and again on Sunday August 26th at 10:00am. You can also hear Fiction Nation on Sonic Theater, XM 163, on Thursday, August 30th at 3:00pm. All times EDT.

September 26 - 30, 2007: Bouchercon 2007 in Anchorage, Alaska.

Killer Year Anthology Release Events:

January 22, 2008: Killer Year: Stories to Die For, edited by Lee Child will be released. An anthology of shorts from the Killer Year authors and their mentors in International Thriller Writers, including my short story "Slice of Pie."

Left Coast Crime, Denver, Colorado, March 6-9, 2008.
At this year's conference, Lost Dog is a finalist for the Left Coast Crime Rocky Award. In addition to keeping my fingers crossed, I'll be participating in the following panels and activities:

  • Debut Authors Breakfast, Friday, March 7 at 7:30am.
  • Moderating the panel "Sex and Violence: Is Too Much Ever Enough?" with Tasha Alexander, David Corbett, Marcus Sakey, and Eric Stone. Friday, March 7 at 11am. Read about the panel at The Rap Sheet.
  • Endless Conversation with Jess Lourey, Camille Minichino, Rick Mofina, Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 1:15pm.
  • Participating in the panel "How Real Is Real Enough?" with Craig Johnson Colin Campbell, Troy Cook, Robert R. Kresge, Barbara Petty. Sunday, March 9, 2008 at 8:45am.
