Lost Dog is a finalist for the Rocky Award
Lost Dog has
been voted a finalist in the Left
Coast Crime Rocky Award for best mystery of 2007 set in the Left
Coast Crime geographical region. I'm both stunned and thrilled to be
included. The other finalists are C.J. Box, FREE FIRE, Margaret Coel,
THE GIRL WITH THE BRAIDED HAIR, Tim Maleeny, STEALING THE DRAGON, and
Twist Phelan, FALSE FORTUNE -- which puts me in some amazing company.

about Lost Dog
Early
on a sodden Portland, Oregon morning, Peter McKrall, unemployed smart-ass
and kleptomaniac, goes to the park to find his niece's lost toy dog.
He doesn't realize his search is being watched by the paranoid killer
of the dead hooker he finds instead.
Lost Dog is a Left Coast Crime 2008 Rocky
